About Project
CAPA is a specialty coffee roasting company dedicated to delivering high-quality, flavorful coffee while embracing both tradition and innovation. The goal of this project was to design a seamless and engaging digital experience that reflects the brand’s passion for coffee craftsmanship and makes it easy for customers to explore and shop.
My role in this project included User Research, Wireframing, Visual Design, and Prototyping. The interface not only simplifies the purchasing process but also educates users on various brewing methods from a classic cezve to Chemex and French press — helping them discover the perfect way to enjoy each coffee variety.
A key focus of the design was to highlight the unique journey of each coffee bean, emphasizing its carefully controlled path from harvest to cup. The result is a user-friendly platform that celebrates coffee culture, invites exploration, and enhances the overall customer experience.
Home page
The Home Page is designed to provide an intuitive and engaging experience, putting the spotlight on CAPA’s premium coffee and brewing expertise. The layout ensures quick access to product selection and seamless purchasing, allowing users to add coffee to their cart in just two clicks.
A key feature of the homepage is the Brewing Methods section, which educates customers on different ways to prepare their coffee—from cezve to Chemex and French press—helping them find the perfect method to match their taste.
Additionally, the Blog serves as a knowledge hub, offering insights into coffee culture, roasting techniques, and expert brewing tips. With a clean and recognizable design, the homepage reinforces CAPA’s brand identity while ensuring a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience.
Mobile View
The mobile experience retains all the functionality of the desktop version while making shopping and exploration even more accessible. The design is optimized for seamless navigation, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user journey.
With a well-structured layout, users can effortlessly browse products, learn about different brewing methods, and read the blog without any compromise in usability. The menu and shopping cart are always within easy reach, allowing for quick access and a streamlined purchasing process.
Whether discovering new coffee varieties or making a purchase on the go, the mobile view provides a fast, user-friendly, and immersive experience tailored for convenience.
Outcomes
This project was built from the ground up, covering every stage of the design process—from branding and user research to testing and interaction development. A strong focus was placed on creating an intuitive and visually appealing experience that reflects the brand’s identity and commitment to quality coffee.
The project included interaction and visual design, ensuring a seamless and engaging user journey. Additionally, motion design was incorporated to enhance usability and create a more dynamic and immersive experience for users. The result is a well-crafted digital platform that not only simplifies the shopping process but also deepens user engagement with the brand.
